The Life Science Conference, October 10th

The Life Science Conference on October 10th is dedicated to exploring the vast opportunities for collaboration and leveraging the extensive infrastructure and expertise available in the Stockholm-Uppsala region. We are happy to have the Swedish Minister for Social Affairs and Public Health, Jakob Forssmed, to set the scene with an introductory speech.

We are delighted to announce that the subsequent tentative programme includes the new Director of SciLifeLab, Jan Ellenberg. He moves here from a position as head of the EMBL Imaging Centre and of the EMBL Cell Biology and Biophysics unit in Heidelberg and will share his external view of the Stockholm-Uppsala cluster. For the inside perspective, we are honoured to present Mathias Uhlén, Professor of Microbiology at KTH, and Ulf Landegren, Professor of Molecular Medicine at Uppsala University as speakers.

There will also be dynamic pitches from young entrepreneurs and researchers, a panel discussion with key people from the public sector, and, of course, a concluding reception.

We are also delighted to announce that Nina Rawal will be our moderator, guiding the discussions and ensuring a thought-provoking and insightful experience.
